The two sequels of "Legally Blonde" dominated in the early 2000s when spectators were crazy about Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods. It is now confirmed that the third part of the movie is coming.
After a number of rumors, Witherspoon confirmed new information on his Instagram by posting a short video in which the legendary pink bikini floats at the swimming pool.
"The truth is # LegallyBlonde3," the actress wrote.
She was wearing a pink bikini jacket in 2016 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the movie and decided to wear it again to confirm the franchise's continuation.
The story of Blonde Elle is considered one of the biggest and most funny comedy. The first part of the movie shot in 2001 earned $ 141 million from screenings at cinemas around the globe.
Witherspoon has earlier announced the possibility of recording the sequel.
"We have a screenplay, but we did not record anything, Elle is very fond of the character, just wanting to go on a heroic journey as it did in the first wave," she said.
According to Deadline, original screenwriters Kirsten Kiwi Smith and Karen McCullah also wrote a screenplay for the new movie. Original producers Marc Platt and Adam Siegel will also work on the film, and Witherspoon will join them. No more information on who will direct the movie yet.
The third "Legally Blonde" in China should arrive in February 2020.
