The first scenes of the new Batwoman series have arrived, in which Gotham City's comic book superhero Bruce Wayne takes over from his cousin Kate Kane as Ruby Rose.
In the first two episodes of the series, which will premiere this Sunday, October 6, we will watch Gotham residents believe that Batman returned to town after three years of disappearance, without thinking at any point that it was a woman.
Kate, like other superheroes, has her tragic past associated with a car accident caused by one of the Joker's conspiracies. In that accident, Batman "bought" enough time for Kate to escape, but the car fell off the bridge with her mother and twin sister.
Her father Jacob Kane is otherwise the owner of a private security firm with elite veteran staff. The first Batwoman cast shows Kate undergoing intense training to join the family business.
The series announcement doesn't say much except that Kate Kane is seeking justice in Gotham as Batwoman.
In addition to the attractive Rose, otherwise a showbiz star from Australia, "Batwoman" stars Elizabeth Anweis, Rachel Skarsten, Dougray Scott, Camru Johnson, Nicole Kang, Sam Littlefield and many more.
The director and screenplay for the series were done by Caroline Dries, known for "The Vampire Diaries" and "Smallville."
